Everyone Poops–a children’s book that most adults should read due to their uncanny fear of a necessary natural process.
Scientifically speaking: There are several characteristics of living things, such as, growth, reproduction, excretion (elimination of waste), etc.
Before a hospital organization discharges patients, they wait for them to pass stool. The patient is often kept in hospital care until this is achieved.
Alright now all these statements should have prepared you for the matter of discussion…colon cleansing.
Okay let’s be honest people, our bowels must move in-order for us to maintain a good state of health. If you think about it then you will realize that most people whose pipes are clogged are usually grumpy and feel hot. This is due to the extreme discomfort of being unable to pass stool which contains a high portion of indigestible fiber and sulfur-rich bacteria. When you have reached this point then here are some things you can do to take those browns to the Superbowl (fyi series of bad poo puns to follow lol):
- Drink an adequate amount of water- H2O intake requirements fluctuate for each person for various reason. Check out this link to determine what works best for you: Drink Water!
- Eat prunes- tasting so much better than prune juice, actual dried prunes have a natural sweetness to them. They also have antioxidants, fiber, and Vitamin K. Eat Prunes!
- Add flax seed to food- I prefer cold milled flax seed because it’s versatile. I can add it to a morning shake or oatmeal. For quick fiber boost. Use cautiously and drink plenty of water.
- Herbal teas with ginger, peppermint, dandelion, chamomile, and cinnamon usually help soothe my tummy when it feels uneasy. This is hard to recommend to others with complicated health issues since these natural ingredients interfere with pharmaceutical drugs. Do your research to find what works best for you.
Those are all the methods I can recall that I use to maintain a regular system. The point I’m trying to emphasize is that under normal circumstances people shouldn’t have to result to highly processed substances or bizzaire methods to cleanse their bowels. It’s a completely natural and normal process. Prevention is key–so eating clean will keep you on the right track. So go ahead have your morning glory and tell your evening story!
